Problems after OTA update

Has anyone else been having problems with their phone after the update? My wife's phone freezes up and then won't shut off, then after you pull the battery to shut it down you can't turn it back on without plugging it in to the charger. Also when you charge the phone it can be flashing red and within 30 sec. it says battery full and stops charging. I am experiencing freezing and slow response. My notification bar wouldn't work yesterday, and our battery life has gone from about 8 hours to 3 hours with no other changes except the system update.

I recommend reprogramming your phone.   I have provided instructions below.  If you need to go into a store for assistance, I have also provided a link below for our store locator.   

 

Dial *228 (Send) and press option 2, when prompted, from the device.  This will update your phone settings.

I would head over to Verizon and ask them to fix it, hopefully it is still under warranty or you have insurance...

Mine does the exact same thing. I've done more battery pulls since the update than I did during the 3 months I've had the phone. I was attempting to wait for this froyo update to see if it fixes anything but apparently that update is not in the near future so I guess I will be making a trip to the Verizon store. Not exactly my favorite place!
