Problems with charging

Just recently (2 days ago) my S III began having problems charging. While charging, it would actually lose charge. Right now, I was at 88% when I plugged in my charger, and now I'm down to 84% -- over about an hour or so.

It seems to charge fine on my car charger.

I've substituted different charging blocks and cables... all seem to act the same.

My daughter had the same problem about 2-3 weeks ago. Today she said hers works just fine.

So... what's happening?

Thanks for reaching out to us. I am sorry to hear that you are having issues charging your device. It certainly should not be losing charge while charging. There is no known issue with this device and that issue. You may want to check the charging port and make sure any debris is cleared out for a clean connection. Also you noted that you are using different chargers. You want to make sure that you are using the original charger that came with the device. Not all chargers will properly charge with all devices and could have a negative affect on the phone performance. If you do not see any changes after clearing debris, you can have phone checked at store to check all charge connectivity. Please keep us updated.
