When I reply to an e-mail, my sent items do not show my reply. They only show the quoted original message. I have confirmed that my reply is included in the message (by checking the e-mail on a recipient's computer). However, when I go to the Sent folder on my Samsung Fascinate, I cannot confirm that the message was sent correctly. I sent the same reply to one message three times - trying to figure out what was going on - and I'm sure I looked like a complete idiot to the recipient of those 3 identical messages.
Anyone know what's going on? Possible bug in Android 2.2?

Sorry, thought I was PM'ing. I gotta be more careful. Anyway to delete an erroneous post? I see how to edit, but not delete.

Hello, jmaxwell92264!
What's the email provider? Were you able to remove and re-add the email address into the phone? Here are the steps to remove the email account.
Please post back here.
Thank you!

Same results with both e-mail providers. I have Desert Cities RoadRunner (dc.rr.com) and gmail set up on my phone. It's only when I reply to an incoming message that my response does not appear in the sent items folder. When I compose a new message from scratch, the message appears (including what I typed plus the statement "Sent from my Verizon Wireless Phone"). I don't want to delete and reconfigure my email accounts, as I believe it would just be wasted effort. Sure looks like a bug to me. Surely there are others who have had this problem.

I have the same problem, and it is sporadic. I have two mail accounts, a Road Runner and a Yahoo, both with the same problem. And I just had a factory reset on my phone, so I know deleting/recreating the accounts will not solve the problem. I agree that it is a bug.

Thanks. Now maybe Verizon has enough info to recognize that they need to fix the problem, and not send the users out on wild-goose chases removing settings and then going back through the setup and configurations process. Verizon is paid to fix these problems and we have better things to do with our time.
