Ringer shuts off by itself (Samsung Fascinate)

My ringer seemingly shuts off by itself without changing any of the settings. After it shuts off I have a hard time turning it back on (not exactly sure what I do to get it back on). Sometimes I turn it off and sometimes that works but not always. Any ideas how to prevent this?

Try doing a battery pull by removing the battery while phone is still powered on and then wait about 10 to 15 seconds to replace the battery back on the phone. Power phone on and see if this corrects your issue.

It happened to me and I think it was due to hitting the volume located on the side of the phone. if the volume is accidentally pushed to the lowest setting it will become mute.

Thanks for the input. I tried removing the battery in that mode and it worked once, but when I tried it again when the ringer shut off, it didn't fix it (tried it several times). I also make sure the volume in not set to minimum or accidentally lowered. I guess I'll call Samsung and see what they can do.
