My S20+5G has terrible reception during phone calls and when I'm online I get no internet connection ALOT! I pay way too much for a service that I can't use so frequently! My zip code is 85207.

The S20+ 5G is far too awesome of a phone to be dealing with any calling and internet connection issues. Let's make sure you get the service you're paying for. What is your signal strength currently? What difference do you see when you are outdoors versus indoors? Do your issues occur in other areas as well?

Right now my signal strength is -105 dBm 35 asu inside and I went outside a few minutes ago and it was -98 dBm 38 asu. Yeah the problem is pretty consistent. I had thought when I first got this phone that my days of waiting on buffering were over. What a disappointment.

Did you have this issue on previous devices or did it start with this phone? You've mentioned buffering issues. Are you on an unlimited plan that can impose network management restrictions at all times or when a certain amount of LTE data has been met? How far must you be from the impacted location before the service improves?

I would like to jump in and second the experiences of the poster. I am a mobile Healthcare professional and I also Door Dash nightly.
When my S20+5G shows a 4G symbol, everything works great.
When my S20+5G shows the 5G symbol, internet is frequently lost. If the internet does connect, the speeds and response times are way slower than when on the 4G symbol.
This issue has disrupted my job and Door Dashing quite frequently.
I live in the 98372 zip code, but travel all over Pierce County.
I have the Note 20 Ultra 5G and have same issues in San Diego East County La Mesa CA area. Only have trouble with internet and not on wifi. If I am home everything works fine, If I lave my wifi, I can only get calls and texts. Can not go on internet or apps that require data which is pretty much all of them.......91942 zip
I am having the same issues in the same zip code. This leads me to believe there is a Verizon 5G tower failure in our area, it seems Verizon 5G is pretty terrible in the San Diego area. T-mobile is looking far more attractive to this 12 year verizon customer....

Seems that a lot of people are having problems with the same exact phone, as I am also! I can't complete a telephone conversation without the call dropping 3 or 4 times! I just switched to Verizon from Straight Talk (AT&T) and thinking this was a huge mistake. As many people have stated, I have to log into my wifi on 4G because 5G I can't get anything to load.
I am at my wits end right now! Called verizon and like most, waited for a Rep to answer about 45 mins. They updated the towers for me and went through some trouble shooting methods just to realize this was a waste of time because it does the same thing!
I guess I should go back to my inexpensive phone and get back on Straightalk! Had no problems with that set up!

I have the same issue. As well as not being able to get online at all. Such a disappointment. I should have kept my S9+. Never had any problems.
We want to ensure you get the assistance you need, alrandall67. Does this happen randomly or in specific locations? Does your device read No Service when experiencing these issues?
