S22 PROBLEMS: Missing Group Text Messages & No Missed Call Indicator

I just got a new S22 yesterday and I am not liking this phone at all. I have 2 major problems that I can't figure out how to solve.

**I am missing some text messages in a group thread** I see in the upper part of my phone that I have a message that has come in so I know it came. When I click on my messages icon and go to that group message the message is not there. I know that its not a specific person that I am missing messages from because earlier in the day that same person did send a message in the group thread and i received it and can see it. I have no idea what to do about this but this is not good. I have several group threads related to work.

**No Missed Call Indicator** On my old Galaxy there was a blinking light (blue I think) that continued to blink indicating that you missed a call or a message. The light continued to blink until you checked that message. I spent 2 hours on a chat with Samsung customer service last night and ultimately they couldn't figure out how to give me a missed call indicator. They said that I needed to contact Verizon "to activate advanced feature from the carrier." If I can't glance down at the phone and know that I have missed a call/text then this phone can go in the garbage. It will be worthless to me.

First, to address the group messaging issue, please tell me which text messaging app you are using (the red/white Message+ app), the preinstalled Samsung Message app, or a third-party messaging app you downloaded from the Google Play Store?

With regards to your missed calls concern, you can set the device to notify you about missed calls and messages by vibrating when you pick it up.

From Settings, tap Advanced features > Motions and gestures > Alert when
phone picked up to enable.

I am using the message app that came with the phone. When I click the 3 dots on the message app and go to About, Terms & Privacy it says: messages.android_20220811_01_RCO3.phone_samsung_dynamic

This was already enabled but it does not vibrate when I pick it up after a missed call/text. I would prefer some way to know i missed a call/text without touching the phone if possible.

Apologies, but the only way to know if you have a missed call or text, other than knowing your phone had just received one by hearing the ringtone or vibration, is by checking your notifications on the phone.
