S4 Screen randomly stopped working.

Hello folks, today I pulled my phone off the charger only to discover my screen not working. When I power it on can see the led light and hear the sound. I can even feel the vibration feed back. Someone help please. Thank you.

I hope a verizon rep answers your question because my son is having the exact same issue. We both upgraded to S4's a month and 7 days ago. His phone was turned off and charging. This morning when he turned on the phone it makes all the sounds and I think the blue swirl comes up on the screen, but then the screen goes black and he can't  use it.

We really need help and fast because he is leaving tomorrow morning to go to Massachusetts and then Maine on Saturday.

I have the same problem.  I have had my phone less than one month.  It quit turning on after being on the charger.  I had noticed the day before this happened that when using the hot spot my phone got quite warm.  The only answer i was given was they would replace my phone...one day short of a month and the send me a certified used phone???  Not only am I furious about that I am afraid that this will be another lemon phone from Verizon after seeing these postings.  I had had Verizon for 25 years and left after two years locked in to paying monthly for a really crappy phone that kept having to be replaced.  and i can't get through by phone or chat with customer service.  i should have stayed away.  The phones I have had from them are lemons, their loyalty to their customer is nonexistant and their customer service sucks.

Why in Gods name did i return to Verizon and Why did i go with a contraqct.  What an idiot (smacking myself in the head).

My son just told me his phone is working again. His cousin took the SD card out & it started up just fine. I don't know what will happen if we put it back in, but apparently it's working just fine now.
