S5 Issues

I am still having an issue that's been ongon since upgrading in October. I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S5, and found out I'm only receiving every other call or so. I called my own phone using a different phone. The outgoing call rings twice and goes to voicemail, my phone shows no record of receiving the call at all. Verizon has sent me a new SIM card, that did nothong. Verizon has checked their network and found nothing. Verizon sent me a new replacement S5 and still the problem continues. Verizon has not offered to take at least 25% off of my bill. Any solutions or suggestions welcomed!

I can see why you'd be frustrated, jclark3!
Do you know anyone else who has Verizon? Do they have this issue as well? Did the issue happen with your old phone?
Thanks,

Yes, my wife has Verizon, and multiple others and no issues for them.

Thanks for sharing those details with us! I definitely want to get this resolved for you. What zip code are you in when having this trouble? Did this happen with your previous device ever? Are there any areas you visit where you do always get your calls?

I live in 68845 zip code, I experience this issue everywhere I go though.
I'm not sure if I was experiencing this issue with my old phone because it
was pretty much junk, I would receive and send text messages days after
they were actually sent, I have no text issues with the S5 now. What
happens when sending a call to [removed] (which is my number) you hear it
ring twice then it goes straight to voicemail. My phone shows no record of
the call unless a voicemail was left, then I see that I have a new
voicemail. If the caller calls me right back, it goes through, most times.

Thank you for taking time to troubleshoot with us, jclark3! Do you have Advanced Calling 1.0 active on the device through Settings? Does the phone have strong signal yet still miss the call?
Thank you,

I don't believe I have that feature, I've never heard of it or seen it.
We've disabled all call forwarding like Google Voicemail. I always have a
good strong signal of 4G coverage in all areas.

Just received a new download for 4.4.4 last night. I guess I'll see if
that changed anything.

Just tested, 5 calls and they all went through! If there is an open ticket
can we leave it open for a couple more days just to be safe? Thanks!
