I would think because Oreo is not ready to be released. There are still problems to be resolved. BTW where did you get your information from?
Support page updated to oreo on june 6. But they changed it to android 7 again in june 7
Why are you so anxious to get Oreo? Have you not read all the posts from S8 and S9 users about how it messed up their phones?
you should do a factory reset after operating system upgrades, it eliminates 99% of the problems.
What kind Windows operating system do you use now?
Why don't you use Windows XP ?
This is very stable operating system of Windows kinds. ^^
I would like to know this as well. Why is it taking so long to get this figured out? I understand programming, but if your haveing this much of a problem with a certain model or even 2 or 3 models put more people twards tring to find the solution! Why keep changing the update page?You get our hopes up and then boom, it's like a slap to the face. One moment we think "yes!!! Finally gonna get this update we've been waiting on for almost a year" and the next like "what the heck where'd it go?" If you update the page, then release the update. If your not gonna release the update then don't say it's being released. Wait to change your update page till after you know for sure 100% that the update is being released and you won't have to cancel it again.

Did you experience issues yourself?
My phone updated earlier in the day; >6 hours ago. Poor timing as I was in the middle of something else but I let it go and it ran its course. No issues experienced thus far. If anything the phone actually seems more responsive.

Why do you want it? Haven't you read all the posts about the problems it has caused S8 and S9 users?
I updated to Oreo 3 days ago and so far there are no problems. Must say it is much faster now. I really haven't looked into the new features yet, still taking stock if I lost anything in the update. Just one thing so far one widget called My InforData was taken out. Otherwise smooth running.
