My mother has the S8 and one day it stopped posting the number of text messages she has. The text sound alerts her but does not show a 1 or 2 on the icon to show you have a message.
This is a case where you don't know what you've got until it’s gone, DAVBRE21. I can understand the importance of getting the unread text indicator back up and running. What is the Default Messaging app that is used?
