I just replaced my LG G2 with a Galaxy s7edge. On my old phone when I got a text message the whole message would automatically pop up in a window on the screen. On the S7 I can't get it to do that...all i get is a notification sound and an icon in the status bar. I've tried both Go SMS Pro and Chomp, and it doesn't work with either. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I can understand you wanting to see the entire content of your text message on the screen, imperialist. With so many privacy settings in place, that may get harder and harder. Have you tried looking in the application settings of your third party applications to see if there is a setting from within the application to display the full message? I know that you can have a partial (the first two lines) of the message show up and then tap on it to open it.
