Samsung GS5 freezing since updated to G900VVRU2BOG5

Since updating to G900VVRU2BOG5, my phone will freeze 2-3 times a day or 2-3 times a week, it doesn't do it when using any particular app and sometimes it will do when trying to unlock phone with fingerprint or swipe. It is totally random and I have already factory reset the phone twice. I have uninstalled all my apps and it still freezes.

I contacted Samsung yesterday about the issue since I have only had the phone since February 13, 2015. They told that the version on my phone doesn't exsist in their data base.

I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue as well.

Let's put a stop to this freezing and get your phone back to normal. I appreciate all the details you've provided and all the troubleshooting you've done so far.

When did you last update the phone? I see there was a recent update (G900VVRU2BOE1 ). Please check your phone to make sure there are no available updates http://vz.to/1VmcZaZ. You may need to run the software upgrade assistant http://vz.to/1qufF5D to update the software. Keep us posted if the issue persists after this software update.

The phone last updated on August 11, 2015 and I keep checking to see if there is any updates but it keeps telling me that there are no updates. I have tried to download software upgrade assistant but my computer won't let me (I have windows 10).
