Samsung Galaxy III - phone freeze

Normally when I have incoming call, even when the phone is in the locked mode, I still could hit the button, and be able to talk.

Issue: This happens some of the time, when I have incoming call, I hear the phone ring, but the phone was "black" like it's in the lock mode. I couldn't even see who is calling, I couldn't even talk when pushing the button like I used to.

Please tell me what's wrong?

Has your device been damaged in any way or has it been wet or had any liquid damages? Ensure that the "Auto screen off during calls" setting is checked http://vz.to/1ie3x45. I would also like for you to test the device for a few hours with it powered up in Safe Mode http://vz.to/18nZrml to ensure the issue is not application related. Let me know if it still happens in Safe Mode. Please keep me posted!
