I was about to take a photo and a message came across the screen but it disappeared too quickly. it read something like "switch to ..... to catch every detail in this scene" "Turn on?" well it disappeared so fast, I did not turn it on (or fully understand the text)- so what did it say and how DO I turn it on?
Anyone?
Thank you,
Laura

I found a reference to the message I saw It reads" The camera itself will sometimes suggest you to switch to 64MP mode to “capture every last detail” in a scene. " on this page: https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s20-plus/review
a bit more than halfway down the page-(search the page for the word "detail")
Thank you again!

We want you to be able to enjoy your device, especially when it comes to capturing memories. Did you see this pop-up when attempting to take a rear or front-facing camera? When you exited the message, were you able to continue with capturing your photo?

Thanks for confirming, yeraunt! I also love taking great pictures. This appears to be the Screen optimizer feature for your camera. Refer to https://www.samsung.com/au/support/mobile-devices/how-does-the-scene-optimiser-improve-my-photos/ for details. I hope this is beneficial. -Tracy

Thank you. I am sure this answer will benefit many. However, Screen optimizer feature was already on, and I never saw this message before, nor since. In straining my memory, I think it read something along the lines of "Capture every detail with incredibly sharp 64MP photos....." but I sure wish I could see that message again, and that it would linger for a few more seconds.
