Hey, I wanted to know when verizon would release the next Android OS update. It has been awhile since 5.1 has been released, and it is kind of necessary for me.
My situation is strange, but my personal gmail is done through a college, and for some weird reason. Android 5.0.2 cannot properly authenticate the google account, for my personal email. I have seen this on quite a few android devices I've owned, tried factory resets on all of them. It is entirely specific to 5.0.2, and it is inconvenient to sign in to my email on a computer, as I have to sign in through the college's website. SO, email on the phone is nice.
So, is there any information on when Verizon will have this released?
Also as a side side (or two), the way customer service is setup here is ridiculous. Why can't I just send an email? This is a suitable situation for just a quick email. And also, this Rich Text Editor has a "feature", if you hit enter but don't start typing yet, it returns you back to the last typed non-white space character, but doesn't delete the <br>'s so they just kinda pile up at the end. Which is obnoxious. Much like the customer service interface here. why? why verizon? why?
But yeah, android 5.1, when can we expect it?
