Samsung Galaxy S7 2017 New Year's today only promotion

Count me in as well. I have contacted Verizon four the last four months asking where my credit is with no help. I talked with two "supervisors" and both said they would get back to be within 24-48 hours. That was three weeks ago. I have been texting them and emailing them with no response. Absolutely horrible customer service

Why do all their responses on this link say they will pm people? What are they trying to hide? Answer everyone on this thread with a public response not a pm! There has to be a lot more people out there that they are doing this to that don't know what to do.

Well, good news on my end! I just received my rebates back to Jan. I received an email telling me to enjoy my rebate. I looked up my bill on the website and they were on the bill. I will continue to follow this thread if there are any questions. Good luck all!

Finally. I have progress and success to report. Received a second credit today for my phone, so I have received credits for the full 24 mo x $18. And the credit shows on my acct online.

Called back today (as advised) - after waiting the 3-5 business days for the latest info I submitted (the link to this forum and the link to the wayback archive) to be forwarded to promotions.

I explained the situation (all over again) to the Rep today, explained that some on this forum had received credits, and reiterated i was an approx 20-year customer. Then asked for the credit I was due based on the Promo offer.

In the end/in summary, VZN credited me, not for the past 4 mo (and future months), but for the entire amount. So I was credited one amount last month, and credited for the remainder today. Happy that this is over for me. What an ordeal. The only other piece of info I can share is that when I purchased the S7 my current phone was a very old flip phone that was paid off years ago....not that that should matter....

Sure hope others on this forum are soon successful receiving their credit....not to mention all others that purchased the phone and are wondering what to do/what happened...

I'm glad to see that some are getting their credits! Hopefully we all will. I think I will follow the lead of contacting the Federal and State Consumer Affairs Depts as I never thought about lodging a complaint there. Will keep this thread posted in anything I find out/credits given.

I've been working on this for awhile and I'm not seeing any resolution. Should I just keep contacting CS at Verizon? I'm extremely frustrated at this point.

What will it take to really get this resolved? I have been to the store (1 week ago) and was told I should have an acknowledgement in a few days. I called the store today, talked to the same person. He said he was busy and would call me back. 2 hours later and still nothing. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced and to just out right refuse to honor a promotion that was advertised is unbelievable. I have been patient and reasonable but to no successful resolution. Nothing on my order has been honored, from receiving the discount to switching me to a higher data plan. I live up to my end of the agreement but Verizon doesn't have to.

Unfortunately it is an extremely slow and agonizing process. I contacted Verizon via on-line chat 3 or 4 times and the first couple reps made it sound like they knew what I was talking about and "they'll take care of it". The last 2 Verizon people I had a conversation with was a supervisor at the 800 number and Andrew sent the PM to me as he said on this thread which I responded to. As of today, I still have not heard back from any Verizon person about the credits. I did have the supervisor acknowledge the $18/month credit promotion without the tablet purchase but unless I actually get the credits what good is it.

On Monday it'll be a week since I talked to the supervisor and I will contact that person again and if I get nowhere I will take the lead of another person here and start a state and federal complaint about Verizon and it's scam. It's a shame it has to get to this but it's all on Verizon - they had the promotion, we were "lucky enough" to get the promotion, they have records of us ordering the phones and I have an email from Verizon that says I have the promotion - I even sent it to a Verizon rep via her email ... so now they are having a hard time honoring the promotion.

As I have said before, anything that I find out or get I will update here.

I got an email today that I am getting the credits. I looked on Verizon Wireless at my next bill and it shows five $18 credits going to my next bill. I won't know if it hits correctly until 6/6/17 as that's the next time I auto pay; they auto paid today and my credit card doesn't reflect the credits. Hopefully this problem is getting resolved and the solution is gaining traction. Good luck to all who still need this resolved!

I will keep tabs on this thread and I will update further when the charge actually hits my credit card or if any other issues happen.

Here we go again. Just got my May bill and no credit. Called Verizon AGAIN and talked to a nice lady but she said that the promotion was valid only if I bought a tablet at the same time. I told her to look at this forum and see all the other people that had the same problem. I told her to go back and look at the original promotion that mhalla99 so generously provided.

She said she was still going to submit my request for credit but that it may still get denied. I told her others were starting to get their credits so why wasn't I. I told her several times to just go to this forum and read the comments so she can see that others are having the same issue. I'm sure she won't.

Verizon has the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with. Their communication to their customer service reps regarding this promotion is terrible. I will be switching carriers if this is not resolved by my next bill.

Have a copy of the email or whatever you have that shows that you have the promotion and call the 800 number and speak to a supervisor. Ask them if you can send a copy of the email to them and do so - the rep gave me her actual email address at Verizon. It seems that some or all of the supervisors know about the promotion.

The supervisor that took my info did leave me a voice mail today that the credits were approved which I already saw via a Verizon email and on the website. It does take a while to get once they acknowledge that this promotion is valid. I haven't actually paid a bill yet where the credits have hit so until that happens I will keep guessing as to whether or not I'll actually get them.

Oh I sent the order summary with the congratulations thing saying I qualified for the credit to one of the first reps I talked with. That guy gave me his email and cell phone number. I texted him and emailed him many times after that and he just blew me off. He replied one time, after that he has completely ignored me.

I then called a supervisor and he told me they won't accept the congratulations letter because in today's world people can photo-shop anything to make it look real when it's not. Basically he called me a liar...when the only people not telling the truth are from Verizon.

Just got the same canned answer about the tablet from customer service. I should have taken a screenshot when I completed my order as I don't have any evidence on my side other than the website screenshot from new year's day and a vague reference about a Samsung credit on my paperwork.

Late last night I engaged in a Facebook chat with Verizon Customer Service after receiving a Messenger message from them regarding the S7 promotion I have not been getting. It was good news. I was informed the device promotional credit has been applied to my line. I was further informed since the promotional code was entered the same day as my current May billing it may not appear until my June billing. Given I was first told in March by a Verizon Customer Service rep that the credit would begin appearing on my April bill but never happened I guess I just need to sit tight for yet another month to learn for certain whether the credit becomes real or not. In the meantime I plan to let my complaints to the CFPB and the office of the Indiana Attorney General remain in process given I have yet to see a dime from Verizon Wireless on the credit that was promised and due me. That way I hope to have a formal response from Verizon Wireless on the matter to third parties that I may refer to in the future should the promotional credit begin to appear and on bill but stop before the full $432 credit is paid out over time. it still upsets me that Verizon Customer Support originally called into question the legitimacy of the screen shot taken of the confirmation screen resulting from my purchase. Best wishes to the rest of you who are trying to resolve this same matter with Verizon Wireless. I will update this thread with any further developments resulting on my part. It has been comforting to know I was not alone in this battle as more and more of you chimed in to share your experiences with respect to this promotion being denied by Verizon Wireless.

Received an email from Verizon Wireless with the Subject - Your bill credit has been applied to your account. Upon logging in to My Verizon I now find a Next Bill Summary that includes five $18 credits labeled 1 of 24, 2 of 24, ..., 5 of 24. Finally after months of communicating with Verizon Wireless it appears they are finally honoring the January 1, 2017 Samsung Galaxy S7 Today only promotion for me. Coincidently the credit appeared the same day I received an e-mail from the Indiana Office of the Attorney General indicating they had forwarded a copy of my complaint to Verizon Wireless. Someone from Executive Relations at Verizon Wireless contacted me directly today as a result of the complaint I filed with the Indiana Attorney General. Although I am now receiving the $18/month credit I took the opportunity to discuss the matter further with the person during our pleasant conversation. I shared the concerns expressed by a number of individuals in this forum thread regarding the extremely poor manner in which we were being treated by various Verizon Customer Service reps when making the case for instatement of the January 1, 2017 Galaxy S7 promotion on our respective accounts. Particularly troubling was the insinuation on the part of some Verizon Wireless reps that we had photoshopped the screenshots of confirmations we received when ordering our phones. Also troubling was the manner in which reps were offering us alternate compensation in dollar amounts that paled in comparison to the total of $432 that was owed each of us over time. I also mentioned that although I am now receiving the credits I never heard from anyone at Verizon Wireless as to what went wrong on their end with respect to the promotional credit being denied in the first place. In response I was told that Verizon Wireless outsources promotions to third parties and the promotion was being paid out just one month late. I noted that it was actually two months late given there are five $18 credits now showing up on my next bill.

Thanks for updating but I'm sorry to say that whatever Verizon's excuse is is a load of garbage! I too am supposed to be getting my credits as it is showing up on my next bill but for Verizon to not know what promotions it ran is pretty sad. Or is it that everyone we talk to are not Verizon employees and have no clue what Verizon does, which again doesn't say too much about Verizon and their practices. The fact that I chatted on line with a Verizon representative at the end of April and was told 'no promotion like you describe was available' is really disheartening and says it isn't being paid out a little late.

Luckily I came across this thread, saw other's are having the same issue and some Verizon reps here were looking into it gave me some hope. Seeing that other's actually talked to supervisors that helped them gave me even more hope and reading about going to State and Federal agencies was going to be my net step which luckily I didn't have to do ... yet.

I can't blame the Reps themselves as they are just workers with whatever info they have. I just shake my head that we all have to fight to get what was offered and Verizon promotions dept had/has no clue about it. As to the authenticity of our orders - it was on 1/1/17 and anyone who ordered the phone should be in their database - yes there was a few promotions but they should have a way to decipher who gets what promotion.

We understand the need to have the promotional credits as promised, Vin-NJ. With regards to the account we do want to make sure everything is set up properly and that your credits will be issued as promised. I did more research into this matter and am afraid I have sad news. The promotion we offered on New Year's Day for your device required you to purchase both that device and a tablet. Then, the two combined would be eligible for discounts that made the payments $10 per month for your phone, and $7 per month for the tablet. I was unable to find any tablet purchase in your account at that time. Please let me know if there's anything further I can help with.

To the customer service reps contacting ppl on this forum stop talking about the s7 and the tablet promotion. We all know that promotion was available that day but there was also the other promotion where you just purchased the phone by itself. I understand that it doesn't show up on your end that's why we are having this issue. It needs to be escalated that's the only way it has been resolved for me and some of the others. Just stop with the unfortunately you didn't buy the tablet song.

At this point I have received a text from Verizon on what my June 2017 will be and it looks as though I have the 5 credits for each line in the bill. It also looks like going forward I will be receiving the $18 per line credit going forward. Once the bill hits I will know better.

I will not know if the bill hits correctly until 6/6/17. I am assuming since I got the text it will happen but until it does happen I won't know. I will update all on here for the 6/6 bill and the next bill.

Good luck to all who are still fighting this! It sounds like the Reps here are knowledgeable about the promotion and I did speak to a Verizon Supervisor and he also knew about the promotion. He did call me back and left a message so it is all positive once a Verizon Rep or Supervisor acknowledges the promotion; I would think and hope as more of us see the credits that it will be easier for those still looking for them to get the credit.

So, I am in the same situation as previously stated about purchasing a Samsung Galaxay S7 for $10.00 a month after a 2-3 month cycle. I have attempted to call to find out after 2 or 3 months and was told wait 4 mionths. Still have not received it. Called the last 2 days and spoke with Verizon and they stated the promotion was with buying a tablet also. Any suggestions what to do next, the only RESOLUTION offered was an one time bill credit of $28 per phone. Unfortunelately we bought two phones and now paying full price. We decline their settlement offer.

Wow. I would have thought by now Verizon Wireless would be properly handling this situation for all affected customers. SEEYATK does your state have a consumer protection agency or department? In Indiana the Office of the Attorney General was able to act as a mediator on my behalf. They were really great to work with.

My daughter and I signed up for the promotion that was offered January 1st also. We've been watching our bill carefully waiting for the refund to come. When it didn't come last month we contacted Verizon and were told that they would be working it out and to watch for the refund in our next bill. Our June bill still is not showing the refund. So today we contacted a Verizon representative only to find out that Verizon is not honoring what we were led to believe was the contract to get our phone for $10 a month after the first three months. The customer service representative informed me that until I was able to come up with proof that we had signed up for that promo, Verizon had no intention of honoring the contract. According to the rep, because she and 'many others' were not aware of the promo it essentially did not exist. She came just short of accusing me of lying. Shortly after my conversation with her, I did a Google Search and discovered that I and my daughter are not alone in our frustration at the moment. I cannot believe this is even the same Verizon we had come to appreciate so much in the almost ten years of business we have given them.

If any of you have the original email or Verizon packing slip that may help. All I can say is to keep calling, ask for a supervisor and keep trying. I am surprised none of the service reps here are offering to help. It is frustrating that the only deal they know about is the tablet deal but there are some people in Verizon who know about the $18.00 credit deal ... I would have hoped the knowledge has spread.

I did just receive a text that they are charging me a lot less on this payment than what the bill is so my credits for both lines has hit. Hopefully that will continue until the full credit is given.

Other than keep trying and hopefully you'll get someone at Verizon to acknowledge the promotion there wasn't anything special that I did. I may recommend to go to your state's consumer affair's dept and or the federal consumer affairs dept to hopefully get some resolution.

Hi all. My situation is a little different with the Jan 1 promotion. I purchased an S7 at a Verizon company store on Dec 28. Well I went online Jan 1 to pay my bill like a good little wireless customer. Guess what I saw staring me in the face. No cheating. I went thru the process of purchasing the S7 and then cancelled it since I already had the phone and was within the 14 day trial. Now I wasn't as giddy as you guys because I didn't purchase it on Jan 1, but I thought I might be able to finagle something since the purchase did go thru without the tablet.

Jump forward to Jan 3. I'm on the phone with customer service. She gave me the spiel about having to buy the tablet with the phone and that it was only good for the one day. I proceeded to explain how I purchased the S7 without the tablet and had screen shots of the transaction. She put me on hold and was gone for 20 minutes. When she came back she said, "well I have good news." It seems that we can give you the S7 at the promotional price of $10.00 a month." Now I'm giddy. She explained that she talked to the web techs and that there was indeed a glitch on the site Jan 1 that allowed the purchase of one item at the promotional price. She even asked it I wanted the tablet.

Shoot forward to June 22. 4 phone calls and 4 chats later all dripping with honey about how sorry they are that it hasn't gone thru yet and that it will be expedited immediately so it will show up on my next bill. Not. Phone call number 4 was interesting in that the guy was so cool about my situation and that I should have been instructed to send in my old phone, but since it has been so many months he would have to do some creative accounting (italics mine). He would have to do a work around to account for my not having sent my old phone. This would make sure that the auditing department wouldn't kick it back because of the missing phone. Made phone call number 5 today and talked to a supervisor for the first time. David. No love there.

So there exists my phone call on Jan 3 admitting to a glitch and I have a chat transcript that also acknowledges the same. You guys definitely have standing since you actually purchased the phone on Jan 1. Me. Not so much. Sorry for the long tweet. Class action suit for you guys maybe?

This is never the experience that we want you to have. We want to assist in any way possible. What was the purchase date of the S7?

Just like most of you, I bought the S7 on line January 1st for the $10/mo deal. I have called Verizon 3 times (March, April, May), each time they are working on it. I was finally told in June I did not qualify. In fact, Management Support basically told me I was lying. I was so upset!!! I then went to the corporate store, the rep pulls up the promotion, says I qualify and puts a request to issue a credit. It is denied within a week, like most of you have been. In order to do small claims, I am required to provide written dispute. I have shown them the screen prints and the order confirmation that says I am getting the deal and they still are denying me. After 13 pages of complaints, they know they have a problem and they still refuse to rectify the issue. I am just so disappointed. I will continue to pursue this until I get my credit.

Hi. I have decided that the problem lies with the promotion department. Until the whole department gets the go ahead to honor the promotion then we are dead in the water I'm afraid. What about the class action lawsuit I mentioned.

I discovered the problem is they don't include the promotion as a line item on the receipt. They have a line item for the SIM card and declining or approving adding insurance on the receipt with a line item cost of zero dollars. How hard can it be to add the promotional code to the receipt? It would make it much easier to track the exact promotion in force at the time of purchase and throughout the two year device purchase agreement.

My son also purchased the Samsung S7 on new years day after confirming with the employee on the phone numerous times that he was reading the deal correctly. We went to the store the following day to pick up the phone and again confirmed the deal with that employee who said it would take 2-3 billing cycles to get our discount. I have since called verizon twice (spending over an hour and a half on the phone both times) and was told they couldn't find that specific promotion, but did mention the one that required you to buy a tablet. I explained numerous times that was not the promo. The employee said they would put paperwork in and I would get an email within 7-10 days. I have not gotten any emails. I find this to be horrible business practice that this company can't follow through on their specials!

After yet another hour long conversation with a supervisor, I got her to the point of agreeing to look at other subscriber's accounts that had successfully gotten this issue resolved. Hopefully the notes in those accounts could shed some light.

Would you be willing to allow the Verizon supervisor to open your account on my behalf? They would need to speak directly with you for the permission. Not exactly sure how the logistics would work, but I just wanted to check your willingness first.

I did receive my return call from the Verizon supervisor I spoke with over the weekend. The end result is that she credited my account for the prior months (visible on my account) and has already scheduled the credits for the future months (yet to be seen).

I asked what the resolution was. Her reply was that there was no actual resolution - she just took care of it for me.

Her approach was to contact their Marketing department to research it. They have not responded to her yet. She did take my suggestion for them to reach out to those that did get it resolved and find out how.

I credit everyone on this forum - especially those that offered to help others. It built enough of a case and history for Verizon to begin to believe.

I would also like to thank Chelsea, the first Verizon person who actually followed through on her commitment. She handled the entire issue very professionally.

I offer my help to anyone else that needs it.

Good news. This would mean that the promotion department has kneeled and we should all get in.

I'm in the same boat. No closure after 4 months of chats, visits to store and escalation attempts to no avail. Very frustrating. $28 is unacceptable considering I didn't even get a tablet which would have been $18 a month for both. Verizon needs to step up.

cornerlot, four months is far too long! We want to be sure that you have the answers that you deserve. We did have a promotion on New Years Day that required the purchase of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 together. This combined purchase was reduced to $17.00 per month once the promotion went into effect.

In your post, you mentioned that you did not get a tablet. Did you purchase a Galaxy S7 on January 1, 2017? Was there another promotion that you were questioning? How much did you intend on paying for your device?

Yes I purchased a Galaxy S7 as a promotional offer of $10 a month for 24 months on 1JAN2017. It has been 7 months and Verizon will not honor the contract I entered into after repeated attempts on my part to straighten this out over the past 4 months.

I agree with Cornerlot. A lot of people purchased a galaxy S7 as a promotion offer of $10 a month for 24 months on 1JAN2017. The promotion was obvious misleading if so many of us purchased only the phone and still expected to get a $18 per month credit. For me, the TV commercial was not explicit. I watched it many times to see if there was any hidden agenda. I felt I could buy the phone only and get a credit or buy both and get more credit. I even have a order summary that tells me congratulations, you are getting this devise for $10/month. When i picked up the phone, all they said was wait 2 -3 months to get your credit. They never said you don't qualify. It has been 8 months now and Verizon refuses to honor the contract. I too have made repeated attempts to straighten this out. If you look at this thread, some customers have been granted the credit, while others of us continue to fight! Come on Verizon, you need to give us the credit you advertised and promised!

I have seen where vzw_CS says to respond to the email directly, but only once has any vzw customer service done that...and even then, I received no response.

So here we are 10 days after a lengthy escalation note was sent up from Verizon's Burlington, MA store. And no response as of yet. Still paying $28 a month. I'd be happy if Verizon honored the additional tablet and adjuted my contract to $18/month. Or to heck with it. Just give me the phone alone for $18/month. Whatever. Verizon sure is making out on this mistake. I would never have contracted this phone for $28/month. My S5 is still in perfect condition. $10/month for a S7 okay. Bit this whole experience is putting a bad taste in my mouth. A very disappointed 16 year Verizon customer here.

So I spent an hour on the phone with Verizon today. They say they are investigating. It would be nice if the Verizon reps on this thread would stop playing dumb. We all know what happened. They meant to offer the phone and tablet deal, but accidentally put up a phone only offer. This would be fine if you knew this when you went to check out, but because you get the price through bill credits, no one actually sees the price. Now we are all in a contract to buy a phone that we probably wouldn't have bought if we knew it was $432 higher than advertised. Why would so many people intentially pay $11 more a month not to get a tablet? Over 100 strangers did not get together to make up a promotion and try to scam Verizon, so it would be nice if customer service reps would stop trying to insinuate that we did. The sheer amount of time we each have invested would not be worth it. Since this is a one day, one phone issue, the solution seems simple. Honor your own promotion.

I for one will be leaving Verizon if it is not handled satisfactorily. If I can't trust the prices on Verizon's website, I can't buy phones from them.

Making sure you are receiving your rightful credit for a promotion is a priority. We truly apologize that is has taken this long to start the investigation. We never want to lose you as a customer because of this. Did you receive a reference number from the investigation ticket? Also, how many lines do you have that are missing the promotion?

The customer service representative did not give me a reference number. She

said that I would receive a call from a supervisor in 2-3 days. This has

not happened yet. Of course I have been told this before and never received

a call. This is for only one phone on our account. I would just like to

know who I have to contact to get this solved. We have been overcharged for

8 months now.

Fyi, Verizon CS sent me a message to contact them via Facebook messenger. I have tried that. It takes a while (24 to 36 hours) and different customer service reps continue to ask questions and answer your questions. They say they are looking into it. One is having to check what some else is doing. (been waiting 48 hours - nothing yet). Not the greatest, but it might be a way to start a conversation that might get you results. I noted this blog and had to send them the link...It's another way to hopefully get resolution. Good Luck! If I ever get the credit, I'll let you all know.

You should certainly expect to receive a callback when that expectation is set, DANFOR93. I apologize that this did not happen. I also have been scammed by Verizon with this deal. I bought the Samsung 7 on 01/01/2017 and have several chats and gone in person to the store and nothing has been resolved. I am using this forum as a last chance for Verizon to fix this. I have been paying full price for the phone that was advertised for $10 a month for 24 months. Please fix this problem as I do not wish to switch carriers but if Verizon does not honor its promotion I will look for a more honest carrier.

Yeah, Verizon scammed me as well. During the holidays last year I got the S7 Edge at the $15 rate advertised at Christmas after having to give up my Note 7, but a few months later my bill kept saying $20. I asked a customer service rep about this on the phone and she got the Corporate Store Manager from the store I bought the phone from on the line. Even after I played the commercial recording for them over the phone they both agreed that I was a liar and that no such promotion existed.

Its the same issue with me but I bought 2 phones. Now they want full price. At first they kept saying no promotion existed. Then they started to argue that I didn't buy it in time since my order was processed on 1/2/17. If there wasn't a promotion, why would it matter when I bought it. I linked them to this thread and then they offered that I pay $28 per month but after 3 months they would credit the previous 3 months. Pay in full 3 months then credit 3 months. The cycle would continue until 24 months was completed. Seemed very suspicious therefore I questioned the credit. How would I know if this person would revisit my account every 3 months in order to credit my account? I asked her to get something in writing regarding the credit. She totally denied any documentation and got all aggressive. Now she noted to my account that I denied their previous offer and was nasty to her. The audacity of this "supervisor". She reversed then kept throwing it out that I needed to buy a galaxy tablet as well. She hung up on me.. I called again and now they offer me $100 per phone as a one time deal. I have been with verizon since 2000 and this is how they treat me. They keep saying I denied the the original deal and thats all they can do. Gotta say this is some sleazy bait and switch.

They offered me $200 but I declined.

The supervisor I talked to indirectly called me a liar - there wasn't such a promo.

Customer service(CS) LaurenC was able to get me the credit, retroactive to January.

Some times CS they say respond to direct email - but they don't send one.

Just keep trying, don't give up. It took me 4 months of fighting before they finally relented.

I even went to the local store who saw the promo and put in a ticket and still they denied.

If you have time, try that too. Just don't give up!!!

Hi. Bait and switch...yes and no. When I saw the promotion on Jan 1st, like all of you, I saw the tablet and phone together and assumed that you had to purchase both. Then, like all of you, I purchased the phone. Happy I was, like all of you. Skeptical person I am, I called CS on Jan 3rd to double check. The lady I spoke to was adamant that you had to buy both to get the promotional price. We called each other names for about 20 min and I convinced her to check with the web techs. She went away and came back about 15 mins later and said "you are right. There was a glitch in the site that allowed a customer to just buy the phone at the promotional price." She even asked me if I wanted the tablet too. I declined. I gotta start recording all my phone conversations. Anyway she said she would get me the promo price and I would get the credits blah blah blah. Well, like all of you I waited 3 mos, 4 mos, 5 mos, 6mos etc and nothing. Numerous calls to CS telling me I was crazy.

So as et1988 has said, go find LauraL_VZW on facebook and get her going on your purchase. She has the power to fix this and I think she is the final word on this whole mess. When I spoke to her she was very knowledgeable and seemed to have some pull. Not like the chat or regular CS people. Good luck.

I purchased 2 galaxy s7's and 2 tablets on new years day and have called Verizon customer service over 20x now, gone to the store endless times...they told me I was crazy. On top of this, the representative who helped us purchase our phones, talked us into trading in our current phones that we needed to return to Sprint that we were still in a contract with. I asked multiple times if I traded mine and my husbands phones in, that our Sprint account would be taken care of. Basically just even for the device credit.

We never got the bill taken care of. Sprint has now taken us to collections for over $1500 bc of the two phones! We had amazing credit and now it is effected by this. I have nothing but negative feedback to describe the unprofessional conduct and deceit passed to customers from Verizon.
