Samsung-Lollipop-Lock Screen Incompatible

I received the Lollipop update; Android 5.0 and on Verizon but to be honest I don't think its a Verizon issue.

Under Settings and under Lock Information theres a section called "Additional Information" accessing and enabling this feature allows you to have the Weather information and your Pedometer Step count displayed on the "Lock Screen" you can keep it disabled but myself I have it on 24-7

But after upgrading to Lollipop the Notifications take over the "Additional Information" and until I clear out my notifications it wont come back; heck its not even in the background to look past my notifications.

I called Verizon and I talked to Samsung and they said "No issues have been reported" and "We haven't came across this issue"

Really?

At any rate, Im trying to spread the word. Notifications is an intregal part of Lollipop, and I really like it; however I think Samsung should give us the ability to make the Weather and Step Counter at the bottom of the Lock Screen and should be compatible with incoming notifications; notifications shouldn't completely take over the device.

On Kit Kat; most my notifications would just be a icon in the upper most part of my phone; the Weather and Step Counter untouched. If I received a Text Message, it has its own dialog box that still doesn't over write my Weather/Step. I think same with Phone Calls. Basically on Kit Kat I didn't have to go into my phone; clear the notifications just to see how many steps I have walked/obtained.

Lollipop I have to clear notifications just to see the weather and step counter :(

I believe if Samsung does it right doesn't matter if it is top or bottom. You can scroll through the notifications.

Agree that this is an issue that needs to be addressed.

I just updated to the newest version of weatherbug. It displays the current weather, sunset time, etc. as the very first notification right under the system date and time (I use a PIN security on the lock screen). I am still installing and configuring the health app to check for solutions for the Pedometer function.
