Samsung S III will not perform system update

currently my phone is on 4.1.2 I got the phone used over two months ago and I have not been able to update my software. My phone downloads the update I select install and it reboots only a odd screen pops up thats teamwin recovery and I eventually have to remove the battery to get it to cancel out phone turns back on and informs me the update failed. I have done a factory reset on my phone many times. please help!!

Johanna10, we see your distress call here in this forum. We're stepping in to help. Are you redownloading the same applications after hard resetting your device? Let's make sure that this isn't a memory capacity issue. Try deleting all unwanted text messages, call logs, e-mail, and applications from your device. Power your phone off/on and try to update the software again. Keep us posted.

That is great! I appreciate all the steps that you have taken to try to resolve the issue with your phone not completing a successful software update. Software Updates are very good for the applications on your phone. Have you tried completing the software update via your computer.
