I got a Samsung S22+ about a month ago, and last week I upgraded to the latest software update. Ever since then I've had horrible cellular data performance - websites don't load and when they do it's extremely slow. Everything else about the phone - texts, phone calls, wifi connections - all work fine, but cellular data is terrible. I usually have to either restart the phone or reset the network settings to get it working again.
Is something wrong with the update or do I just have a bad phone? It was working fine until that update, and now it's completely broken.

We are truly sorry to see you in this dilemma. The last thing we want is for you to have a negative impression of Verizon. We want to offer the support you need.
Please tell us more, what exactly is going on?

In my area, I used to have 2 or more bars. Now whether 4g or 5g it's usually 1 bar or none!! I find it hard to believe that it's just a handful of us. How can a company like Verizon have this big of a degradation of service. ESPECIALLY when I just bought a brand new, Verizon, s22 Ultra in April!!

I just reset my network settings three times and I'm still not getting a good data connection. I can't even get a good enough network connection to run a speed test, let alone get a code to sign in here to reply.
What's going on? Do I have a bad phone, a bad software update, or is something wrong with the network? It shouldn't take this many days to answer the question.

I don't blame you for the frustration. In Settings > Apps > Search for "One Talk"
Tap Permissions and for each tap Deny.
After that Disable the App, and let us know if this helps with the service or not.

Did all of that. Still not working. Reset the network settings again. Still no internet. 4G LTE is on, I have three bars of signal, texting and calls work, but cellular data/internet isn't working. Apps all say no internet connection.

Try seeing if you can disable 5G. I had the same problem in a big metro area. Supposedly the 4G/5G roaming not only causes slow internet connection, but also eats up battery. Does your battery last longer than a day? 5G is still not what it is advertised to be. Maybe someday.

Thanks for that info. Let's dig deeper.
Please keep in mind that 5G-enabled devices show a 5G icon instead of a 4G LTE icon on the device screen. When using data in a 5G Ultra Wideband coverage area, the 5G UW icon displays. When using data in an area not covered by 5G Nationwide, your device automatically shifts to our 4G LTE network.
Did I explain this OK?

Really sounds nice, but you're completely out of your league in understanding the problems with your own service. And phones, this is completely disingenuous. Do not listen to these replies from verizon vide

Find another provider and a different phone than Samsung. I was loyal to both for many years. And I cannot believe how bad they both, are. Now it is truly shocking

Yes, it is. That's when the problem started - after I ran the latest software update.
Just had to reset again.

I think this is the same issue I am having that I posted a problem about. After the update about a week ago, my phone loses mobile data when connected to wifi. I see the 4g lte symbol next to my service bars but it's gray instead of white. It only happens when connected to wifi. This is a problem as I have networks that aren't connected to the internet and the buggy software now makes it where I get no data connection.
I have even went to developer settings and tried to force keep on mobile data when connected to wifi for faster switching but even that doesn't work either.
Verizon, you need to roll back the software and go back the drawing board because the latest software is clearly messed up!!!

I am in Wood Ridge Nj and suddenly the cell service is horrible. Never more than 2 bars and says 4G. This started just a few months ago. Have always had great service.
