When listening to music I would loose the sound while the music would still be playing and/or the application freeze up. I tried turn of all music and notifications, take out the battery for 10 minutes and start the unit on Safe Mode. Nothing helped. So I need HELP!

kchen,
Let's get those tunes flowing. What application are you using that you are having issues with? Does this happen with every application that has music associated with it? Are you on cellular data or wifi when you have these issues?

kchen, this is quite strange for sure. If the issues is happening while in safe mode that may mean there's an issue with the software. Since you started experiencing the issue have there been any changes to the device? Software updates, application downloads, or damage to the device?

Great question. Let's find out what software version you're currently running. Please go into Settings, About Phone, and we are looking for the Android Version and build number. http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-59260/

kchen,
Thank you for that information, have you tried removing the application and re-adding them to see if this helps? You can do this by going to settings, application manager, apps you want to remove and uninstall. Please let us know if this helps.

kchen,
Let's ensure we are on the same page, if you reset all settings to default you will have everything wiped off your phone. Is this what you are trying to do? Or are you referring to the application settings?

Reset default and wipe everything out, since I do not know what is conflicting or causing the sound outage. or if I bring it to one of your offices and have the tech check it out. just have to do something because can do anything with sound.
