Samsung S5 Firmware Issue

Having a problem with my Blue Tooth. When I tried to use the VW Software Upgrade/Repair Assistant I got the error: "Your Device's current firmware version is no supported to update firmware." I have used this Assistant before with no problem. Have the latest updates. How can I fix the phone?

VMAXCUFFS, we don't want this to be an ongoing issue. Have you tried forgetting that Bluetooth connection in Settings>Bluetooth>Select that Bluetooth connection>Select Forget. Once it's removed, try to re-add it back to your device.

The error message: "Your Device's current firmware version is no supported to update firmware." keeps popping up on the screen making it difficult to do other tasks. Also can not turn off blue tooth function, even though it is not working.

The problem started after the last upgrade on Jan 28th.

For software I am running Android 6.0.1, and G900VVRS2DQA1

Vmaxcuffs As much as we use our phones I can only imagine how irritating this pop-up must be. Let’s continue our troubleshooting to get this problem fixed. Does the phone have any water or physical damage? Have you attempted to reset the phone (power off for 30 seconds).

There is no water damage. The screen (outer casing) Does have a crack in it and has for over 6 months.

We have reset the phone, and that has not helped.

VMAXCUFFS, that is definitely frustrating to hear. I can't guarantee that it isn't related to the damage to the screen, but we'd like to troubleshoot this for you. Does this happen with all bluetooth that you try to use?

It happens all the time. Can not turn off Blue tooth. And it will not connect to anything.
