Samsung S5 has started rebooting when a call is received. Rings around 1 time and then restarts.
Naturally, I restarted the phone, removed the battery, stop the back ground processes and run the diagnostics from My Verizon. No impact.
dilligas, we appreciate your efforts thus far. We're stepping in to help. When did this issue start? Did you recently update the software on your phone or download a new application?

The last update ruined my S5. Eats the battery in 5 to 6 hours no matter where I am at. Locks up all of the time. Any action on the phone is delayed about 5 seconds after a button is pushed. Verizon Business group sent a new SIM card. That didn't help.
Ken1971, I depend on my phone to get me through the day. Updates are always meant to improve your device. Does the battery drain after using a certain function? Is it being delayed when opening a specific app?

Thanks. It doesn't seem to be consistent and I've tried determining a pattern. Perhaps it's a memory issue. Would this be "logged" somewhere in the Android OS? I've also removed some of the recent apps.
Dilligas,We definitely want to determine what is causing your phone to randomly shut down. I was not able to find any sources providing a reason to why this is occurring but we are going to get this resolved. I want us to place your phone in Safe Mode and see if the same issues reoccurs. Click on the link for steps on how to place your phone in Safe Mode and keep us posted https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-97645/ .

Thanks Yareli,
After a bit of trouble shooting, clearing cache, restarting, clearing storage being used, and an update to Android 6.0.1 (Dec 1, 2016) security patch, I’ve tried to duplicate the phone rebooting when receiving an incoming call. No luck and I’m able to answer calls as normal. I’ll continue to monitor and will track down details if this occurs again. Thanks for the input.
