I have noticed that while on the phone I can't use my mobile network. I have tried to look online for a solution but was hoping to here you can tell me what will work for sure.
Thank you
Go into settings>advanced calling and enable the feature. You'll need to have 4G service to do both, but it should work once you do that.
Is this a free service/option?
It is, but just so you can verify here is the FAQ page:
Advanced Calling 1.0 | Verizon Wireless
Section 1, number 7.
I have tried activating it several times and it errors..?
What is the error? Do you activate it on your phone or online?
"We encountered a problem activating Advanced Calling 1.0. Please try again later." This was tried on my phone.
And you verified that you don't fall under the list of folks not able to activate it?
Do you currently have 4G access? Wi-Fi turned off? Restart your phone after that and try again?
I am pretty sure that I don't fall into any of the exceptions. I do have 4g access, and wifi is off.
Let's get your advacned calling up and running! The first thing we ould want to check if everything is turned on on your device would be to make sure the Advacned Callling feature is active on your line. You can check through your My Verizon page online and make sure the Advacned Calling feature is on your line. If not, you should be able to add it online or you can reach out to us and we will be more than happy to ensure your line is all set.
