I have had my Samsung S7 for 10 days. I have not installed anything since day one when I moved over all apps from Samsung S5. It has not been dropped or gotten wet. All of the sudden today every minute is turning on the diplay screen. i read somewhere it was a known issue with Messenger+ . I disabled Messenger+ and that worked for 30 mins but now it is happening again every minute. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think it's an issue with messenger+. I have the same phone and use Messenger+ with no problems. Moving all your apps from the S5 over to the S7 could be the problem as you are forcing old apps from the S5 to run on the new software of the S7. I would exchange your phone while you are still within your 14 day return period. If you exchange and get a new phone reload the apps from the play store.
