Screen Damage & Cost

Hello guys,

I've been using my galaxy s3 for 1 year and half. Yesterday the screen suddenly stopped working ( it became completely black without any lights ).

When I removed the battery, I noticed that the moisture indicator was damaged which means the the device was exposed to moisture .

Does any one know what I should do to get it repaired ? ( what the exact problem is ) ? and how much it costs ?

I really need an answer quickly because I need the phone asap...

Verizon Wireless doesn't repair phones. You can try contacting Samsung directly or find a third party repair shop.

First of all, simply because the moisture indicator shows that the phone has been exposed to moisture does not mean that is why the screen stopped working, unless there is something else to your story which you have left out?

A local phone repair shop MAY be able to get you up an running.

Otherwise, you may be able to get a lightly used phone, even a Samsung GS3, at a site such as Swappa.com, for a reasonable price. This would be much less expensive than purchasing a new phone at full retail.

You should try any local mall, they usually have kiosks in them that would be able to answer your question. Also they replace iphone/samsung screens i would think the cost maybe 80-100? but that depends on the kiosk, and i do believe radioshack does repairs but depending on how quickly you want it back will determine the additional costs.
