Screen Sensitivity Low

I have had this phone Samsung Galaxy S6 for approximately 2 months now. It was a replacement phone provided by Verizon after my original phone that was purchased at Best Buy. I was having camera issues at the time (Error message as of day one). The new phone was operating fine (camera operations not as good as my first phone when it did work) until the past 3 weeks having screen sensitivity issues. I had kept the screen protector that was on the phone that Verizon sent me and had taken that off (cringe). It was working so/so and it got really bad. I took off the case that I had purchased for the phone (Otter Box Defender Series) which it ended up acknowledging my finger (keyboard, camera, and slide down thing on top of the screen) after the removal. Now its acting up again. Appears there are some major weak spots in the screen that was installed. It appears to happen when the phone is being used to where the screen warms up. All software is updated nor has the phone ever been dropped at any time, If I take this to the Verizon store, am I going to have to fork out $$$ for repairs and such? I am very disappointed with the inconsistency of the programming of these phones. I hated the fact of having to give my NEW phone for a REFURBISHED one. I purchased a phone for my room mate at the same time when at Best Buy and hers works better than mine does. Better photos, no issues with software, and no complaints. Pretty bummed out. I have insurance with Best Buy for my phone, is that going to cause a problem since this replacement phone was directly from Verizon.

Took my phone to a Verizon store. The representative replaced my SIM card to see if this will cure the screen sensitivity issues. Currently it is working VERY well and even have my Otter Box Defender on it. I am now able to text, tweet, and converse with speed. Maybe Best Buy had given me a bad SIM card at the time of the original purchase. This is the same SIM from the original purchased phone that I had to give to Verizon due to having a Camera Error message. You may want to see if that works Verizon as far as Camera Errors, try changing the SIM..just might work.
