Sent not Delivered

Why do pics/screenshot messages shared from the Gallery using Verizon messaging only say sent instead of delivered?

Are the files too large?

I was in a poor service area (no signal to 1x to 3G varies...mostly 1x) when I sent most of the messages. I thought they would say delivered when I got to a 4G area, but have not. It's been a day. I sent a regular text and it went through perfectly. The other person has a Galaxy S5 as well.

I've taken the battery and sim card out for a reset, but the pics have still not sent.

I'm thinking the other person did not receive due to no response. I tried the same process later in the day with a different person (iphone). It took awhile, but eventually the sent changed to delivered for that message.

Hi kdg79 - Let's make sure those precious memories get sent and delivered! I can confirm that in most cases if the user if not with Verizon Wireless as well the message will only show sent as we are unable to verify on another network. Do you know the wireless carriers of these recipients?

did you get a message that what was being sent was too large?

i see the message if i try to send more than two, 8meg pics.

sent & delivered are 2 different things.

confirmation of delivered requires a response from whomever is receiving the message.
