Ever since the Jelly Bean update I receive notifications every time my phone goes in and out of service. I don't have the best service at home so it frequently goes in and out. I can't figure out how to turn off these notifications without turning my phone on silent but then I don't get any notifications. Any suggestions?

I want to help end your frustration 129kerri! What specific notification are you referring to? Is the phone stating a specific message or alert? Have you checked your volume settings under your sounds folder?

Check to ensure all are set to no volume
I hope this information was helpful.

Thank you for your response. I checked my sound volume settings and if I turn the notifications sound to no volume then I don’t get text message alerts.
My service frequently goes in and out. Sound notifications will alert me in addition to notifications on my screen stating “emergency calls only”, and then when service is restored (typically less than a minute later) I will receive another notification on my screen and a sound notification. There are times when my service will drop in and out 4 – 6 times in a 5 minute period. I receive sound and screen notifications each time. This is a new issue since the Jelly Bean update.
My system sound volume is set to zero.
Kerri
