Phone was working ok with lollipop then after last weeks update it started to dropping phone signal and data only wifi works. Restart phone and it comes back without moving an inch.
I had no signal inside, outside, anything. I went to the Verizon store and the sales person said my SIM card was bad. The card was replaced and my signal is fine now.
I understand how frustrating it can be to restart your phone every time sproc123. I want ot make sure that all your services are working properly. What zip code are you in? Is anyone else having this issue? How far do you have to go in order for it to get better?

I have exactly the same problem. I have to either restart the phone or tun on / off airplane mode to receive even a tiny signal - this occurs several times a day (at home, work, inside, outside). I continually miss phone calls, texts etc because the phone shows "no service". The phone is also getting very hot - I am assuming because it is searching for a signal. Zip 80233 &80004.
JDunn113,We want you to have a working phone at all times. Looking at the zip codes provided no troubles have been reported in either area. Are you aware of anyone else in the zip codes you provided having trouble? On your phone do you have advance calling turned on? (Settings, Advanced Calling). You mentioned the phone gets hot. What are you doing on the phone while it gets hot? Are you using it while charging? Do you have a lot of applications running at the same time? (Settings, Applications, Application Manger, Running) Please keep us posted with the details. I am not aware of others with this issue. My husband's phone seems to have a fine signal. I do not have Advanced Calling turned on. My phone is sitting on my desk at work, when I pick it up it is very hot and the battery drains to critical after only being on from from 6am to noon. I close applications regularly so there isn't much running except default applications. If I try to stop an application from the settings, applications, application manager, running - I get messages saying that stopping service(s) may cause the application to fail. Status shows Network - searching for service, Signal Strength -113 dBm 0 asu
Mobile Network Type IWLAN, Service State - Out of Service, Roaming - Not Roaming, Mobile Network state - Disconnected.
