Small carriers are updating it's samsung galaxy s4 to 4.4 kitkat!!

Done with Verizon, my mind is made up to take my 2 lines to T mobile. It is pathetic that the small carriers are already giving the update to their customers and the largest carrier with the most resources refuses to give their current customers at least some information about this software upgrade. The only thing we are getting is some CSR responding with rehearsed answers that is just making most us unhappy and more frustrated by each passing day.

Rehearsed I guess you could say that but I prefer the word canned. You will get a similar answer her from the VZW CSR;s who come through here from time time and reply here with they canned answers. You will get familiar with them real fast and very tired of them real fast. One thing though, I don't know how long you have been with VZW but updating of VZW phones has not been one of the VZW virtues often if at all. Mostly our phones are the very last ones in the world to be updated so don't hold your breath until your phone is updated. Good luck with your new carrier should you decide to move to them. I hope you don't have a contract current with VZW or you will be charged by VZW dearly to end that contract. May TMOB will buy you out of that contract though. I know they were doing that. Hope the offer has not ended yet as it will save you some money when changing carriers. Make sure when you go over to TMOB that the service works in places you live and travel.

verizon has never been forthcoming with what they're doing about updates.

small carriers are small for a reason & really have nothing to lose with putting out the update earlier than verizon.
