Software Update - Consent removed? Really?

So this morning I woke up to a request on my phone to upgrade the software on my Samsung Galaxy S4. Instead of blindly saying "yes, update me," I went and looked at the upgrade notes. Most of it looked pretty benign except for this:

'Location is being shared' consent has been removed

Verizon....why on EARTH would you remove my consent to share my location? What if I don't want this consent removed? I have currently DECLINED to update my software based upon this one hitch.

I am hoping that someone from VZW will come into this thread and tell me that this is bad wording or something and that the feature has NOT been removed.

I thought this was ambiguous: Are they removing a request for our consent? Or are they removing the location sharing, including the consent request, in the Startup wizard (which is the area in the upgrade notes where this remark appeared)?

Now I'm really really mad. I was in the middle of texting someone when the "Approve" button for installing updates popped up unexpectedly on my screen. Because I was in the middle of actively hitting my screen while texting, it assumed I hit "Approve" and now it is installing the damn update!

I am beyond FURIOUS.

All system and software updates to Samsung can be disabled by an application call a BK DISABLER you can get it from Google play. Some Samsung models require the BK PLUGIN. I have been using it to block all system and software updates. Until checked
