Stock Music Player Does Not Recognize Music After 4.3 Update

Hello Everyone,

After the update the stock music player does not find any of my music files. It was working fine before the update. Power Amp Player can find them and it works great. I have deleted and recreated the "music" folder on the interal memory, checked for "." files, cleared the cache in the app and cleared the system cache on the phone, Nothing seems to work. Anyone have this problem or found a solution?

Was the music stored on the internal memory space or the SD card? If it was the SD card, try

Yes, the music is in the internal memory, not on the schedules card.

Thank you so much for the heads up, RRSEngineering. If you love music the way I do, I can see how this would be upsetting. We have engaged with Samsung to review and confirm whether this is expected after the software update.

If you do have any music stored on the SD card, does it play?
