Greetings,
Does anyone know if VZW is aware that the stock music player has some serious issues? It constantly skips songs, freezes, and etc. I noticed this usually happens when my headphones are plugged in. I had to download another music app. which works just fine.
Also, why does the music player have to play every single audio file in your phone? How embarrassing it is to hear recorded voice notes, ringtones, and etc. when listening to music from your phone with friends in the car. This seriously needs to be adjusted.

Well you don't have to use the stock player and you have stated you are using another one. Which is probably a better on anyways even if the stock one didn't have issues. Also I believe you can put those non music files in another folder.

It doesn't matter what folder the files are in. They still play regardless.

Verizon has nothing to do with the stock music player. That's Samsung's software.

I still think you guys understand what I'm saying but at this point I don't think it really matters. Thanks though.

We understand just fine. The stock music player stinks. You found a solution in using another one. Problem solved.

Hello Harmonious,
Thank you so much of informing us about this issue for you. I have the same device and this is my first time hearing of this issue. A great way to make sure your music player is running smoothly is by going into settings, apps, all apps and click on the music player. Once that is completed click on clear data. This will reset the app, but allow all your music to remain on the device. In terms of the music, a way to combat all of your information playing on the device. Creating a playlist will allow only what you want to hear to be heared.
