I have a Galaxy S8, and am using the Samsung messaging app. My friend sent me a text on May 31st and I did not receive it until June 2nd. After spending ridiculous times on hold, I finally reached a representative who informed me that Verizon had a problem last week where other carriers' texts were not delivered to Verizon users. My friend has ATT, the text was time sensitive and we missed an event due to Verizon's failure to deliver the message in a timely manner. Why did it take them several days to discover that there was a problem and finally deliver the texts? What are they doing to prevent this type of problem in the future?
they might think it's an isolated instance until folks from all over call to complain.
