Whenever I receive a new text message on my Samsung Galaxy SIII, I have to hit the back button to scroll through my history of texts to find out who sent me the newest text. Super annoying. Is there a way to make the phone automatically jump to the screen with the newest text on it? Currently, when I unlock the phone it will open up to the last "read" text conversation, but will not jump to the newest text conversation. Any insight would be appreciated. P.S. I also updated the software today and now my haptic feedback on the keyboard wont shut off!
I think that your text problem is normal for the program. When I receive a message I will back all the way out after I have read it until it takes me back to the home screen. Try this an d see if it works for you. As far as the "annoying" sound when typing here is the solution to turn it off:
Touch Menu
Select Settings
Scroll till you find Language and input and then select it
Touch the little gear at the end of Samsung keyboard
Select Advanced by touching it
Make sure the last two setting are unchecked (one controls vibration and the other is sound).
