Still having trouble sending a text with a pic. Unbelievable that this "great" phone, takes 5-10 minutes to send a text, and I have to go in and shut off my wifi each time I want it to take 5-10 minutes to send. Anyone have suggestions on another phone? I was a Droid X user thinking I should take this crap back. So disappointed in Verizon and Samsung!!!!!!!!
Already spent two hours at the store and 30 minuntes on with Verizon tech services!
Fuzzy2010, I agree that the task of sending a picture message sounds very frustrating for you. Picture messages are animated files that require data transmission to send successfully. As a result, when sending a picture message, you are required to turn off WiFi in order to connect to our 3G Network. I want to ensure you that you have a fabulous device and there's no need to switch to a new one.

I just got my S4 yesterday and applied the latest update to the phone. With WiFi and Data turned on the phone transmitted a texted picture message quickly and was received. I keep Wifi and data on at all times while at home and the phone will select wifi for most of all networking activities.
