I have a no sound symbol next to every text message from an individual. What does it mean and how can I get rid of it?

That is definitely a bit odd and we want to figure out what this is just as much as you do. How long has this been showing up? You mentioned it is happening with an individual, do you know what model of phone they are using or if they are using a specific messaging application? What messaging application are you using?
