If the sending a text message from my Samsung S6 keyboard will not go away and I must restart the phone
@biggpoppyjohn
Thanks for keeping me posted.
Have you tried using the Verizon Messages (Message+) application http://vz.to/1Uyj2Ju? Once you’ve installed the Verizon Messages application, disable the preloaded text messaging application: http://vz.to/1sQjUjq. Let me know how this works out for you.

We want you to be able to text without having these issues biggpoppyjohn. Let's get your phone working back the way it should. When did this issue begin? Are you using the default messaging app that came pre-installed on your phone for text messages or are you using a different app that you downloaded? Does this happen everytime you try to text or is a random issue that only happens sometimes?

biggpoppyjohn,
That definitely would concern me too! We want to keep your messages flowing. What exactly happens when you try to send these messages? Do you get any errors or anything like that?

That is not the way your text messaging should work,biggpoppyjohn.What text messaging application are you using?Lets try having you wipe the cache partition on your phone. This will not remove any of your data but will remove old andriod files that your device does not need anymore. Here is how:
1. Turn off your Galaxy S6.
2. Press and hold Power, Volume Up and the Home button.
3. You'll see a blue screen with the Android on it, then you'll be taken to the recovery menu.
4. Use the volume buttons to scroll and highlight Wipe Cache Partition. Press Power to confirm.
5. You'll see a message in yellow at the bottom of the screen when the process is complete
6. Highlight Reboot System Now and press Power to confirm.
Your phone will restart. Please test our your texting and keep us posted if this helped withyour texting issues.
