The volume on my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone keeps going back to vibrate after a call ? I turn the volume back up and after almost every call or two the volume resets back to vibrate, why?

I know this issue is upsetting Shadow2k15. I'm sorry your volume keeps going back to vibrate but we are here to help. Does your phone have the latest software? Are you using any 3rd applications that may be affecting your volume? If so, I recommend removing them temporarily.

My software is up to date. I did not have this problem until I accidentally loaded 'Lollipop' on my phone. I have not added any apps or programs or done anything different to my phone except that Lollipop was loaded. It took me a while to find the pattern. But, it happens after I get a call. I am not accidentally pressing the volume key. I had no issues with this prior to Lollipop. The volume key works like it is supposed to except that after a call, it goes to vibrate on it's own. So annoying because then I miss subsequent calls and texts.

Missing calls is not what we want you to experience, PKirkbug. I do know another way to correct the issue. A factory data reset on the device will fix the issue. http://vz.to/1E4hPF7 Please remember to back up all your contents to the verizon cloud. http://vz.to/1hLEtbE Keep us posted.
