Trouble with text message display on lock screen

I'm having some trouble with my Messaging+ app. When I get a text message, on the lock screen, my phone use to show who sent me a text but would only say "text message" for the content of the message underneath the senders name. Now all of a sudden it shows who sent the text, with the actual text message that was sent to me. I'm trying to figure out how to make it go back to how it originally worked, where it just showed "text message" instead of the actual content of the text. I hope this wasn't too confusing. Thank you for your time and help.

Thanks for reaching out Gunner414. I'm sorry this issue persists. I can help with this issue today. You can change the settings.  On the device go to Settings> Notifications>Advanced> Messages +>Hide on Lock screen

Hi Gunners414, Having trouble with your messaging App. Let's work on getting this fixed so it can function the way you once had it. Do you know if your settings were accessed to change notification status bar? To check go into the settings and look at the box to make sure it has a check in the box. Test this after getting a new message to see if that fixed it and if not we can try something else.
