Troubles with Mobile Hotspot with Galaxy S3

Hello everyone,
I've looked all around the web to try to find a problem similar to mine, but to no avail. I recently added a subscription of Mobile Hotspot to my unlimited data plan, but have some trouble connecting. I have a Macbook pro, and whenever I try to connect to my mobile hotspot, it sometimes never connects, and when it does, it's usually for a page, or two maximum. I turn on the mobile hotspot, and it tells me to touch to set up. I set it up, add in all the info, and connect. I then connect the mac to the mobile hotspot, it doesn't connect, so I check the phone and it says mobile hotspot activated, touch to set up. This is when it never loads. I try to set it up again, which disconnects the computer from the mobile hotspot, and then its just that circle all over again. On the times that it does manage to connect, it usually connects one or two pages, but on the third, the loading bar only goes up a little, and never moves. On the two times it has stayed connected, it works out really fast, so needless to say, very irritating that I'm paying $30 dollars a month for a hotspot that takes longer to get connected than I'm actually using it. If anyone had this problem and found a solution please let me know
Thanks for the help,
Jon

I want you to be able to enjoy the convenience of the Mobile Hotspot feature on your amazing Galaxy S III jfloe91! I would like to ask you a few probing questions.
Are you powering off your Galaxy S III at least once a day? Did you try a soft reset on it by removing the battery and then renable the hotspot feature?
Have you tried testing the hotspot feature with a different device other than your laptop? This will be helpful in determining if it is specifically related to that particular device or with the handset itself.
In addition, is this happening mostly in one specific location?
We will get to the bottom of this!
Sincerely,

I'm having this issue quite a bit as well, at times making the mobile hotspot feature nearly unusable. I have heard it helps if you connect a different device *first* and then connect your laptop. This seems to be working for me so far.
Terribly annoying, but I hope this helps!
