Hello. I have had my Galaxy S4 since May (I actually received it in the mail a day before it was officially released in the stores). I absolutely LOVE my S4 ... so much that I upgraded my wife to an S4.
Now comes the 4.3 update. Both my wife and I have installed the 4.3 OTA upgrade and, for the most part, there have been no issues. However, neither of our phones are recognized via USB on our computers. Prior to the 4.3 update all we had to do was plug our USB cable into our PC (and yes we are using the cable that came with the phones) and the PC would recognize the phone. Now ... not so much. To rule out the PC I plugged two of my older phones (Rezound, Droid4) into my PC and they were recognized immediately. Then back to the S4 and nothing.
Also, I have installed Kies 3. But when I plug my phone in it says it is connecting ... but never does.
I called VZW Technical Support and no one else on the planet has reported this issue ... but I find that very hard to believe. Has anyone else experienced this issue and, if so, have you any ideas on how to fix it?
