I am able to pair my S4 to both my 2012 Subaru and 2011 Hyundai for phone calls. However neither car will allow me to play Pandora. Any suggestions?
Hi freerunner,I'm sorry to hear about any trouble playing Pandora while your phone is paired to your cars. I definitely want to do what I can to make sure you can use your device the way you want! Are you able to play music via bluetooth with any other apps besides Pandora? Is your Pandora app and phone software up to date? Please keep us posted on these details.RuthW_VZWFollow us on twitter @VZWSupport
I am able to play Pandora through the phone when it is not connected and I am not in the car. However the issue appears to be that there is a "reading error" when I plug into the USB port. Neither car sees the phone when plugged into the USB port. I am using a cord purchased at a Verizon store that is specific to the Galaxy. And again, this issue is happening in both of my cars (Hyundai and Subaru). I have checked and the software on the phone is up to date.
I'm having the same problem. Pandora, spotify or the music on my phone. I'm very disappointed enjoyed listening in my car but now only thru phone. Whats the reason? please!!!
Thanks for the additional information, freerunner! This function would be supported by the car manufacturer. You will need to reach out to the car manufacturer to check compatibility with your device. Thanks!AnthonyTa_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
Just contacted Hyundai and they told me that the USB port is designed for iPhone only. I need to use the microphone input to play through the speakers. I am still waiting to hear back from Subaru.
