Unable to connect to network?

I woke up this morning and found that my phone was unable to connect to verizons network. Is there an outage in Northern New Jersey or something? Multiple phone resets have not resolved the issue.

4G LTE network is working for me here.
What do you mean by phone reset? Rebooting the phone, pulling out the the battery, or factory resetting the phone? Either of those involve varying degrees of "reset".
Have you tried toggling airplane mode? Switched to CDMA only?

I simply turned it on and off to begin with. Removing the battery seems to have worked. Thanks for the suggestion.

I live in a rural area of New Mexico. I have been successful in connecting to some remote networks by turning roaming on for a few seconds, then off. But remember to turn it off since the charges are outrageous.
