If i were to purchase a developers/stock unbranded version of a phone directly from the manufacturer, would vzw allow it?
I basically dont want any of the crapware vzw puts on their branded phones, and would even perfer having root access to personally select what programs and companies are accessing select info.
In a perfect world, all i want from vzw is access to the network, i dont want them accessing any internal phone logs, any programs im using (aside from what they can obtain via ip-addresses). I dont need anyone accessing the details as to what kind of phone im using, contact information etc.
