When I update my device(samsungfascinate) to 2.2 froyo, i can download it but after rebooting, blue-white color window poped up and said

U should be able to press "OK" at the bottom of the screen to begin the install process. This screen is just telling you that you will not be able to use your phone during the install process. The phone will unpackage the download then install the update while you see the Verizon splash screen which will take a few minutes. Hope this helps.

When I did the install, it gave me the message and I clicked ok. It did the install, rebooted, and finished the update. When it booted after the install, the message was there again, and I clicked ok, and it went away and finished doing the update.

Is this what you did, or did you just leave the message there?
