Verizon S4 on Lollipop - Bluetooth pairing fails (device not listed)

I recently upgraded my Samsung S4 to Lollipop 5.0.1. Now when I do a scan for local bluetooth devices to pair with, it no longer lists my headset (Motorola S10-HD). It did so just fine before the upgrade. It *does* list other devices in the area. I've tried restarting both devices. I've noticed a lot of posts regarding S5 upgrades to Lollipop and subsequent Bluetooth problems, but didn't find any related to the pairing step.
Ideas anyone?
Thanks,
Barry

I am having the same problem. After the 5.0 update of my phone, it won't pair to my car. Before the update, my phone was paired and worked perfectly. Phone is Galaxy S4.
I hear there is an update but I have not received it as of this post. I'm hoping it will fix this problem.

Hi JoeBlaze,
Software updates should enhance the device! Sorry to hear that this did no happen. Lets get your device and car back paired. What make/model/year car do you have? Have you attempted to remove the pairing and readd the pairing since the update?
Thanks,

Car Is Acura TL. 2006
Yes I removed my phone from the car and tried to pair from scratch. No success. I contacted Verizon support and they sent me a link that upgrades and or repairs my phone. I ran the repair option which took 30 minutes. They told me this would solve my problem, but it has not.
My phone paired and connected to my car and my wife's car with no problems prior to the 5.0.1 update. I am of the understanding that there is an upgrade, 5.1, that would solve this and other problems. Is this an option?
Please help as this is causing many problems for me as I need my phone while driving for my job.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
Thank You
