Verizon Samsung Voicemail Settings DO NOT WORK

You either get voicemail notifications that won't clear or you don't get any notifications at all.

Verizon and Samsung offer no product support and no customer service.

Years later, still no solution.

Time to get an Apple IPhone.

Go to device settings > apps
Find voicemail
Force stop
Clear data cache
Disable app
Uninstall app updates
RESTART PHONE
Update app from Galaxy store
Open voicemail
Run through setup

Wrong. The settings do not work. And the instructions are false as those settings and options do not exist.

THERE IS NO VOICEMAIL APP - ITS A SAMSUNG PHONE ON VERIZON NETWORK AND ALL THE SETTING ARE ON BUT THERE ARE ZERO NOTIFICATIONS - CACHE HAS BEEN REPEATEDLY CLEARED - ENTIRE PHONE HAS BEEN RESET - THERE IS NO APP AS MENTIONED - NOTHING TO UPDATE OR DISABLE - NOTHING TO UPDATE AT GALAXY STORE. USELESS INSTRUCTIONS.

NOBODY NEEDS BAD INSTRUCTIONS AGAIN AND AGAIN. WE ARE HERE TO REPOST THAT VOICEMAIL NOTIFICATIONS ARE BROKEN AND TO HAVE YOU FIX THEM. THANKS

There are multiple notifications settings scattered and hidden all over the device and apps. Impossible to manage as they reset themselves randomly.

Verizon has stopped providing new voicemail notifications. Please fix the problem and reinstate new voicemail notifications.
