Verizon Text App Thumbnails Don't Appear

When using the Verizon Text App the thumbnails don't appear with YouTube or other links that have been shared with me. 

It's annoying and love some help fixing this.

I use messaging every day, so I know it's important that the application is easy to use. To clarify, are you speaking of Verizon Messages (called Messages +)? Or, are you referring to the messaging app that came with your phone? Please let me know, thank you.
