I had spoken with a Verizon Wireless agent by the name of Moses through Verizon Wireless's chat to inquire about activation fee. He had waived it due to a issue with a Verizon agent at the local Costco. He then stated my information would be sent to the representative. This is breach of privacy as the representative could come to my home since they are local (removed). This was very scary to learn. The next thing i had asked about was the "Verizon Edge Program". The representative had explained that it was just a plan change that would drop the monthly cost of my plan to 140 for two lines instead of 160. He said that i wouldn't have to pay anything else and it was just a plan change but I would need to go into the store to have them take care of it. I went to the store and was informed that the Edge program is actually where you pay for the phone per month for 24 months so I would be paying extra. I had then contacted Verizon in regards to their shady dealings and was on hold for 20-30 minutes before I got a rude representative he was not willing to help or care that i was lied to. I asked for a supervisor he had placed me on hold for 10-20 minutes and then hung up on me. I called back and waited another 20 minutes and got to a representative that was just as rude and asked for a supervisor. The supervisor stated that the only thing she could do for us was a $25 dollar credit since i drove to the Verizon Store. I had asked for a manager and she had refused and stated that they did not have managers and she was the last line to assist me. Verizon has lied to me and is not willing to help they have breached my security as well by giving all of my contact information to a local wireless representative. Also, we had expressed to many people that the S3 over heats and as compensation we would like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 but was told no and that we could have a refurbished phone of the same model. We called back and got yet another incompetent supervisor who kept repeating things and changing her story. Does it every end
What I would like is what i was promised. The Edge program WITHOUT having monthly payments for the phone and then compensation after that for having to spend a few hours driving and speaking to Verizon Representatives I would like to be upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Verizon can not keep doing this to people
